Art

	I'm most interested in modern art, with modern being  around 1850 through present day.  I prefer surrealism and abstraction to realism.  My favorite artist is Joan Miró.
	In the past few years I have been working with acrylics to develop my own style of painting.  I make use of geometric shapes and gradients of bright colors on dark textured backgrounds to illustrate emotional events.  Here are scans of some  of my favorites (click the thumbnails for bigger pictures): "Upon hearing that Leah's dad has leukemia..."
